Brad Wilk the drummer was born on the 5th September 1968. He was born in Portland, Oregon. He lived in Chicago, and settled in Southern California. Brad grew up seeing how money corrupted his father's life and took it. From that Brad has always valued simple this. While growing up he was a fan of music and listened to the Sex Pistols which changed his life. Brad got into Rage Against the Machine by placing an ad in a newspaper which Tom Morello happened to have read. Brad is considered as the heart of the group, because he cares about others and their feelings. So he is always looking out for everyone. Though Brad stated in Ray Gun magazine that " I really wish I could be a fucking asshole". Brad is more into the music part of Rage then the political side. Brad has a gray & black tattoo of the number #3 on his upper left arm and a lion on the his right upper arm. Currently Brad is dating Selene Vigil formerly of a Settle girl rock band called "7 year Bitch".
